Peyton Sell is from Glencoe, Minnesota, a small town just west of the Twin Cities. Peyton is a senior majoring in secondary composite biology education. He is a member of the baseball team and has been a representative of the team on the Student Athlete Advisory Council for the past three years. His future plans include teaching and coaching at the high school level. Peyton has grown to love the Mayville community and could see himself living here in the future. Peyton really likes that Mayville State is a small school where you get to know everyone. When asked about his Mayville State mentor, Peyton said, "Jeff Sieg was my biggest mentor. I had the idea of being a science education major when going into college, but Jeff sealed my decision."
