Josh Erfle is a senior from New Salem, North Dakota. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration and is very involved in the Collegiate DECA chapter on campus. The ability to get to know professors on a personal level and small classes sizes brought Josh to Mayville State. For him, these characteristics mean success both academically and professionally. Josh's Mayville State mentor is Dustin Olson, who has taken the time to get to know Josh and his goals. Josh also has two on-campus jobs that work well with his academic schedule. He works with Dr. Jeffrey Powell, Director of Student Life, as well as with the custodial staff. Josh says these jobs allow him to work on the little things that make Mayville State shine.
