Non-degree students do not intend to earn a degree from MSU, but would like to enroll in a course or courses for transfer, personal enrichment or additional certification or professional knowledge. Non-degree students are not eligible for federal financial aid programs, but may be eligible for private or alternative loans. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.

A complete admissions file includes:

• MSU application for admission
• The $35 application fee is waived for United States and Canadian citizens. 
• Proof of previous coursework may be required for certain coursework with prerequisite requirements.
