Rylee Heil is a junior from Harvey, North Dakota. She is pursuing a major in elementary education and a minor in early childhood education. Her favorite classes at Mayville State were any classes with the late Jeff Sieg. Rylee is involved in choir, CRU, and Student Education Association, and she is on the women's basketball team. She is serving as the team manager this year. Her future plans include teaching in a small town in North Dakota. Rylee likes that Mayville State feels like home. She says you can't walk anywhere without saying hello to someone! Her favorite Mayville State memory is going to the national tournament for basketball in 2020. Her mentor is Coach Dennis Hutter. He has taught her more than any other coach, not only about the game, but about life.
