Mayville State University offers two categories of scholarships:
Honor Scholarships
- Only for new first-year students or transfer students
- Awarded at time of admission

Competitive Scholarships
- Open to all new and continuing students
- Awarded after the scholarship application deadline - March 15, 2025
- Students must complete the Mayville State scholarship application using the scholarship portal.
Scholarship Tips
- Competitive scholarships are not awarded until after the application deadline.
- Take your time to submit a thorough, complete application.
- Not following directions or not completing all requirements of the application process may result in elimination from the selection process.
