12 Reasons Why You Should Join a Student Organization The above lists come from multiple sources, and none of those are “scholarly.” The authors are people who recognize the benefits of being involved on campus in a way that is personalized, unique, and powerful. We know being involved in student organizations – and especially taking on a role as a student leader for one or more of those organizations – offer lessons that enhance learned material from the classroom.
