For the first time ever, Mayville State University Homecoming will meet Farmers Bowl for a combined all-out celebration. Campus and community events for all are scheduled for Sept. 15-16.
The week prior will be filled with lots of great events for Mayville State students. It's a busy week for Comets!
Monday, September 11
Homecoming Court ballots become available. (Ballots for the Homecoming Court available Sunday evening.)
9 a.m.-1 p.m. Remembrance for 9/11 in the Campus Center
3:30 p.m. First meeting of the Arts & Crafts Club in the Library
8:00 p.m. Dodgeball in the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse, sponsored by Student Athlete Advisory Council. Snacks provided.
Tuesday, September 12
4:00 - 7:30 p.m. Mud Volleyball, north of the Campus Center near Stan Dakken Dr.
(Mud volleyball canceled. Let's support our Comets on the road then come out and play some flag football!)
6:00 - 7:40 p.m. Watch Party for Volleyball at Mount Marty College. Location: Parish Room. Snacks provided.
8:30 p.m. Flag Football on the Jerome Berg field. Bring yourself or a team. Sponsored by Peer Leaders.
Wednesday, September 13
6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Crafts night - make flowers and displays for Hispanic Heritage Month, in the Library.
6:40 p.m. Watch Party for Volleyball at Briar Cliff College. Location: Parish Room. Snacks provided.
8:00 p.m. National Speaker: Odd?Rod: poet, photographer, author, and spoken word expert on a return visit to Mayville State. Education 118

5:30 p.m. Comets Youth Night
9:00 -10:45 p.m. Coronation for Homecoming Royalty and Annual Lip Sync competition, Classroom Building Auditorium.

9:00 p.m. Bonfire at the Receiving Building Parking Lot, north of the Campus Center.
Saturday, September 16
9:30 a.m. Ceremony of Remembrance at Military Honor Garden on the grounds at the Larson Alumni Center
10:30 a.m. Line up for parade north of Goose River Bank, downtown Mayville
11 a.m. Farmers Bowl/Homecoming Parade, starts at Goose River Bank, runs east down Main Street, turns north at 5th Avenue, and ends at Jerome Berg Field
Noon Corn & Hot Dog Feed and Pre-Game Festival. Free corn on the cob and hot dogs, live music by Kenny and the Classics, inflatable games, face painting, fun for all!
2 p.m. Homecoming Football Game vs. Waldorf University, Jerome Berg Field
