You are invited to honor a veteran in a very unique way! Let's remember the efforts of our proud and strong veterans for they bravely fought to achieve our country's liberty and freedom.
The Military Honor Garden on the lawn of the Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center was dedicated during Mayville State's homecoming festivities in October of 2015.
The MSU Foundation continues to raise funds for the new memorial garden, which features a life-sized bronze eagle in flight sculpture (pictured at right), flags, night lighting, and memorial gardens surrounded by sidewalks. All five branches of the military are represented on granite plaques. There are still several opportunities to pay tribute to a special veteran with your gift.
Any gift will help fund this project and would be very much appreciated! A gift of $500.00 or more will provide you with a granite plaque on which will display your honored veteran's name, military branch, and year(s) of service. It will be placed on the memorial walk.
Those honored in this permanent tribute will be recognized each year during Homecoming festivities. This is a great opportunity to honor those fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters who have fallen and/or served in the armed forces.

Gifts of $500 or more
Honoring veterans who have served our country is the mission of the Military Honor Garden at Mayville State University. This mission is accomplished, in part, through the placement of granite plaques at the memorial. A gift of $500 or more will provide you with a plaque engraved with the name, brach, and year(s) of service for the veteran you wish to honor.
If you make a gift of $500 or more online, please see the plaque engraving guidelines and complete the form below.
