The Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies is a 13 semester credit graduate certificate offered online, asynchronous in 8-week course sessions.

Graduate certificates support educators and others returning to gain backgrounds in topics in education, who want to advance their knowledge and skill sets without pursuing a master's degree. The Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies provides core coursework for the preparation of educators across a broad spectrum of essential and relevant domains.

The Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies supports teachers who are taking on leadership positions and skill development in organizational leadership and grant writing, highly beneficial to the needs of schools and organizations that seek funding alternatives for programming needs.

Students will be able to complete a graduate certificate and apply those courses to a Master's of Education degree if they wish to continue, in either the Adult Teaching and Learning track or the Innovative Teaching Practices track and have all courses applied to the degree.
