A big "thank you" goes to all who supported the annual Sportsmen's Raffle. The event held Saturday evening, Aug. 25 was a big success.
50-Gun Giveaway - Saturday, August 25
The 12th annual Sportsmen's Raffle event will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the National Guard Armory in Mayville. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., and the gun raffle begins at 7:00 p.m.
The Comet Athletic Club Sportsmen's Raffle is held annually to raise scholarships for Mayville State student athletes. The highlight of the event is a 50-gun giveaway. Tickets sell for $100 each and only 500 tickets will be sold, so ticket purchasers have a one-in-ten chance of winning. The evening event also includes a meal, a variety of raffles, games, and prizes. Must be 21 to attend.
Guns were purchased from Scheels in Grand Forks, N.D.
We have just learned that we may not sell raffle tickets online. To purchase a ticket, you may send your check ($100 for each ticket purchased) to MSU Foundation, 330 Third Street NE, Mayville, ND 58257. Checks must be received no later than Friday, Aug. 24.
2018 Polaris Ranger 500 Raffle
Tickets are also being sold for the chance to win a 2018 Polaris Ranger 500. Eight consolation prizes - $500, 2-$250, 5-$100 - will be awarded. Tickets sell for $20 each. Winner need not be present at the raffle event to win. This ATV raffle is being sponsored by Finley Motorsports.
