Come "home" to Mayville for Homecoming 2018!
The installation of turf at Jerome Berg Field brings a whole new level of excitement to Homecoming 2018! Join in the fun as we celebrate the new turf and give a salute to the U.S. military. A special invitation is extended to all former Comets football players and all military personnel and veterans.
In addition, we'll be honoring former MSU head men's basketball coach Craig Smith and his 2004-05, 2005-06, and 2006-07 teams, along with Maxine Mehus, David Strand, and David Dose.
Performing Arts Hall of Fame inductees Lynn Schroeder, Doug Barta, Conrad Miska, Cynthia Kaldor, Richard Rousseau, and the 1978 Mayville State jazz band will be in the spotlight on Sunday, Sept. 30. Come to the concert and enjoy performances from some of our legendary alumni.

Join in honoring the 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame and Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame members.
This year's Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are former Mayville State men's basketball coach Craig Smith and his 2004-05, 2005-06, and 2006-07 teams. David Dose, Maxine Mehus, and David Strand will be inducted into the Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame.
The awards dinner is open to the public. Tickets sell for $20.00 each and must be purchased in advance. Reservation deadline is Monday, September 17, 2018.

Alumni Meet and Greet & SAAC Pancake Feed
9 to 11 a.m., Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center
Stop by and see your friends at the alumni center! The Student Athlete Advisory Committee will be hosting a pancake and juice feed! While all the pancakes are FREE, they'll be accepting donations to help defray expenses and to help support their new organization. The SAAC has had a huge impact at Mayville State this fall, driving school spirit and making Mayville State a tough place for opponents to play. This will also be an opportunity to hear the latest from Mayville State's education department.
Men's Basketball Alumni Gathering
9 to 2 p.m., Lewy Lee Fieldhouse and Tailgating Area
All Mayville State men's basketball alumni are invited to check out the new and improved facilities during tours that will start in the lobby of the Lewy Lee Fieldhouse from 9 a.m. to noon. In addition, men's basketball alumni are invited to join in tailgating outside of Jerome Berg Field from 10 a.m. until the homecoming football game begins at 2 p.m.
Ceremony of Remembrance at the Military Honor Garden
11 a.m., Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center
Come and honor our alumni and friends who have served their country that we may live in freedom and that again there may be "peace on earth, good will toward men." Mayville State graduate Lt. Gen. Emil "Buck" Bedard (ret.) will make remarks. The names of all who have been honored with plaques in the Military Honor Garden will be read. There will be a special commendation recognizing the 100th anniversary since the ending of WW I and a 50-year commemoration of the Vietnam War.

All former football players are invited to come "home" to Mayville State and check out the new and improved Jerome Berg Field. Be a part of a new era in Comets Football!
Homecoming Football Game

Mayville State University vs. Waldorf University
Come out and cheer the Comets to victory, while saluting our military! The Mayville Legion Post Avenue of Flags will be on display, and other activities are planned. A special invitation is extended to all veterans and all former Mayville State football players. This will be only the second Comets game on the new turf! The homecoming honorees will be recognized during half-time.

Homecoming Concert & Performing Arts Hall of Fame Induction
2 p.m., MSU Classroom Building Auditorium
Top off the weekend with a concert featuring the MSU Concert Choir and Band. Members of the 1978 jazz band will be performing with the current Mayville State jazz band.The 2018 Performing Arts Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized at intermission. This year's inductees are Lynn Schroeder, Doug Barta, Conrad Miska, Cynthia Kaldor, Richard Rousseau, and the 1978 Mayville State jazz band.
