Join in honoring the 2017 Athletic Hall of Fame and Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame members.  
 
This year's Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are the 1988 baseball team, Melissa Charboneau-Folch, Stu Gilman, Neil Steffes, and Lonnie Thomas. Nick Storhaug will be inducted into the Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame, and Gwen Shaffer will be presented with the Distinguished Service Award.

The awards dinner is open to the public. Tickets sell for $20.00 each and must be purchased in advance. Reservation deadline is Monday, September 25, 2017.

All former men's basketball players are invited to come "home" to Mayville State, meet head coach Darren Tighe, as well as the other coaches, and find out what's happening with men's basketball at Mayville State.

Homecoming Parade

 
11 a.m., Downtown Mayville
The homecoming parade will begin on campus, starting at the parking lot west of the Campus Center. The route will turn and head south at the Larson Center, then head west on Main Street, and end near Island Park. If you'd like to register an entry in the parade, contact Adam Edwards at 701-788-4822 or adam.edwards@mayvillestate.edu. All alumni and friends are invited to watch the parade from the grounds of the alumni center.
 

Remembrance Ceremony at the Military Honor Garden

 
12 noon, Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center
Come and honor our alumni and friends who have served their country that we may live in freedom and that again there may be "peace on earth, good will toward men." The names of all who have been honored with plaques in the Military Honor Garden will be read.

Mayville State University vs. Presentation College
Come out and cheer the Comets to victory! The homecoming honorees will be recognized during half-time.
 

All-Alumni Homecoming Reunion

 
4 to 9 p.m., Mayville Golf Club
All alumni and friends are welcome to gather for refreshments and socializing. Call your friends. Bring some memories. Greet the Athletic Hall of Fame, Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame, and Performing Arts Hall of Fame inductees. Meet your former classmates, professors, and friends! A picnic-style supper will be served, beginning at 4 p.m. until it's gone. Free-will donations will be accepted. Cash bar.
 
 
 

Sunday, October 8

Homecoming Concert & Performing Arts Hall of Fame Induction

 
2 p.m., MSU Classroom Building Auditorium
Top off the weekend with a concert featuring the MSU Concert Choir and Band. The 2017 Performing Arts Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized at intermission. This year's inductees are Caroline Brown, Robert Gust, Dr. Joseph Hegstad (posthumous), and David "White Thunder" Trottier.

Homecoming Alumni Choir: MSU Music Director Dr. Cody Hunter invites all alumni to join the current concert choir for a special performance of a couple songs at the Homecoming Concert on Oct. 8. There will be a rehearsal for alumni and friends at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 and another rehearsal with the current concert choir at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8. Performing Arts Hall of Fame Reception

 
Following Concert, MSU Campus Center Luckasen Room
The Alumni Association Board will host this reception to honor the Performing Arts Hall of Fame inductees. Everyone is welcome to join in congratulating these individuals.
