Rockin_Comets_Painting.jpgOriginal Artwork Raffle - Rockin' Comets

For the fifteenth time, artist and MSU alumnus Doug Anderson, Cavalier, N.D., has created and donated a watercolor painting that will be raffled as part of the fund-raising efforts of the Mayville State University Foundation in conjunction with the Farmers Bowl Auction. Mayville State graduate Kelly Morrison has donated the cost of framing the piece.

Anderson's work, "Rockin' Comets," features a peaceful scene on the north side of the Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center on the Mayville State campus. Beautiful plant life complements the lovely red brick of the historic building and provides a serene backdrop for a "Comets" rocking chair, where alumni and friends may enjoy a lovely summer afternoon.

Raffle tickets sell for $5.00 each. They may be purchased at the MSU Foundation and from various community members. Click here to purchase your ticket(s) online now.The drawing will be held at the Farmers Bowl Auction Saturday evening, Sept. 9.
