In addition to the academic scholarships listed above, new students may qualify for scholarships provided by the MSU Foundation. New students who complete a scholarship application will be considered for any MSU Foundation scholarship if they meet the specific award criteria.
Participation scholarships for music and theater are also available for new students and are awarded based on participation in those respective extracurricular activities. Dollars for Scholars awards are frequently awarded from students' local communities, and students should contact their high schools. Mayville State may match a Dollars for Scholars award received during the student's initial year of enrollment by awarding a renewal scholarship up to a maximum of $250 in their second year.
