The contractor contacted Mayville State late this afternoon to let us know they’ll be working on campus tomorrow, Friday, August 18. There will be milling and paving happening on Third Street, Third Avenue, and Stan Dakken Drive (from County Highway 14 going east to the corner).
- Your only access to campus will be via Fifth Avenue.
- The only parking available on campus will be on the east side of the Campus Center.
- See a map for specific details. Parking will be available in the blue shaded areas. There is no parking or driving allowed where you see red slashes.
- Please remove all vehicles from Third Avenue, Third Street, and Stan Dakken Drive and also from parking lots (other than those marked in blue) tonight.
- Students, if your vehicle is parked in the Agassiz Hall parking lot, it can stay there, as long as you don’t need to get out at any time Friday.
All milling and paving of these areas will be complete before the end of the day Friday. When the roads and parking lots are open for use again, an all-campus announcement will be made.
