Drew Combs, Executive Director of the North Dakota Trade Office (NDTO), will be at Mayville State University Wednesday, March 31. Members of the public are invited to join in an informal roundtable chat with Drew and others from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Mayville State Campus Center Luckasen Room on that day.

The North Dakota Trade Office advocates on behalf of members with regards to trade barriers, transportation issues, public policy, and other issues. Through NDTO, North Dakota exporters have direct access to state and federal lawmakers and organizations that support improvements on trade issues. NDTO collaborates with its members and partner organizations to identify shared concerns and develop strategies for success.

Drew Combs has nearly two decades of international and domestic experience in agriculture and energy and has lived and worked in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Prior to his involvement with the North Dakota Trade Office, he worked at the North Dakota Department of Trust Lands as the Director of Minerals Management, where he assisted in managing 2.6 million acres, most of which was within the Williston Basin.

Drew grew up raising beef cattle, and his first foray into the international marketplace was importing cattle from Europe and Africa. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from West Texas A&M, and a master’s degree in energy business from the University of Tulsa. He is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
