Update for faculty, staff, students

Continuation of online course delivery and remote work arrangements

Due to a public health department delay in the release of the results of the Nov. 6 mass testing event held at Mayville State, we will continue online course delivery and remote working arrangements for non-essential staff on Thursday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Nov. 13. Essential staff will continue their on-campus work.

We are doing this out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our students, staff, and faculty. Your health and safety are the top priorities as decisions related to the pandemic are made. Pending receipt of the test results, we will resume full on-campus operations and on-campus course delivery on Monday, Nov. 16.

Thank you to all who are working extremely hard to assure that our campus community continues to be a safe place in which to live, study, and work.

Remember to wear your mask, social distance, wash your hands often, get tested for COVID-19, monitor for symptoms, and stay home if you are not feeling well. These practices will ensure that we are doing what we can to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.

Use the information available at www.mayvillestate.edu/fall2020restart as a resource. The dashboard which reflects COVID-19-related activity among students, faculty and staff is updated daily.

Be thoughtful and considerate of one another. Be safe, and be healthy.

Sincerely,

Brian Van Horn, President
Mayville State University
