We extend a heartfelt thank you to all who participated I the 2026 Mayville State Golf Classic Scramble, held June 6 in Detroit Lakes, Minn., and hosted by the Comet Athletic Club.
The event welcomed a great turnout of golfers who enjoyed a day of friendly competition, conversation, and camaraderie on the course. From alumni reconnecting to supporters gathering for a shared cause, The Classic was once again a summer highlight.
A special thank you goes to the Comet Athletic Club board members for hosting the event and for their continued leadership and dedication in support Comet Athletics. Their efforts help to ensure the ongoing success of this treasured Mayville State tradition.
The annual scramble plays an important role in supporting Mayville State student athletes, helping provide for success both on and off the fields and courts. In addition to raising valuable funds, the event offers a special chance for the Comet Family to come together, catch up, and create lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make the day enjoyable and meaningful.
