March 13, 2020

With the health and well-being of students, faculty, and staff and the community as top priorities, Mayville State University is taking actions to help limit the COVID-19 (coronavirus) risk on campus.

  • All on-campus classes will be moved online, effective March 14 through April 5, 2020.
  • Mayville State will remain open and operational during this time; however, some offices and services may be provided remotely.
  • On-campus classes will resume Monday, April 6, 2020, pending further assessment.

The university will continue to fulfill its mission by ensuring students are able to meet their educational requirements and faculty are able to continue their research and scholarship. All campus facilities will continue to operate.

Effective March 14, students who are leaving campus for spring break (March 16-20) have been asked not to return to campus for an additional period of two weeks (March 21-April 4). Accommodations are being made for those students who are unable to leave. Child Development Programs will remain open and operate as usual.
