Mayville State University has been ranked #177 on a list of Top 250 Public Colleges that Offer Freshmen the Most Financial Aid. In this study, studentloans.net analyzed hundreds of public colleges in the United States and selected the top 250. These schools were evaluated based solely on the average financial aid awarded to freshmen. Financial aid is defined in this report as the average financial aid package awarded to need-based, degree-seeking full-time freshmen.

This is a great time for high school seniors and people looking to complete their degrees or enhance their skills to better their careers to check out Mayville State as a possible college home for the Fall Semester of 2017. Mayville State offers more than 77 majors, minors, and pre-professional programs. With this great variety of opportunities, there are affordable, quality academic plans of study that will help students achieve their goals and kick start their careers.

Those who visit Mayville State, virtually or in person, are eligible for special incentives through the month of July. They include a $250 housing credit and a $100 textbook bundle from the MSU Bookstore to be used this fall semester. The incentives are being offered as a part of “Mayville State Mania.” In the promotion, the $35 application fee is also being waived.

The names of all who visit Mayville State from March through July are added to a monthly drawing for a chance to win MSU’s Golden Ticket – 50% off tuition for the Fall Semester of 2017. To date, three Golden Tickets have been awarded. Recipients are Daniell Rader from Webster, N.D., Ashley Wooten from Fargo, N.D., and Tristian Morowski from Portland, N.D.
