Mayville State University will offer a new cohort of online mathematics courses in the fall of 2016. The courses are on an eight-semester, or approximately three-year, rotation, including two summer sessions. Mayville State offers an online B.S. degree in mathematics for non-teachers and an online B.S.Ed. degree in mathematics education for those who wish to teach mathematics. The online mathematics and mathematics education programs, with minors in business administration, general science, computer information systems, library media and information science, accounting, or special needs, are transfer student-oriented programs.

Mayville State University takes great pride in the personal service given to students. Average class size is 15, so students work in small, personalized class settings with a technological focus. Through the completely online course rotation, students can balance work, family, and coursework demands as they complete their degree. The online mathematics and mathematics education degrees are geared to part-time learners, and each online degree-seeking student is assigned an academic advisor.
