Voices of the Valley presented their Volume 7 Collection: “Childhood” at the March 25, 2021 University of North Dakota Writers Conference. Readers, who participated virtually, were Mayville State Instructor 
of English Aprill Hastings; Associate Professor of English Erin Lord Kunz; and English major and Library, Media, and Information Sciences minor, Maddy Williams, a junior from Mayville, N.D.
Voices of the Valley is a community nonprofit writing project directed by Dr. Erin Kunz. This year’s collection of creative nonfiction stories includes multiple perspectives on “Childhood” from children, siblings, parents, and educators.
