Mayville State University’s annual Farmers Bowl activities are scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2022. Centered around a Mayville State University football game, the day-long festival celebrates the proud agricultural heritage of the area. The MSU Foundation coordinates the event annually, and many community volunteers and MSU supporters work together to make it a successful year after year.

The day will begin with a parade that will run through downtown Mayville, beginning at 11:30 a.m. The parade route will start on Mayville’s Main Street at the Goose River Bank. It will continue east through town on Main Street, then go north on 5th Avenue, ending at Jerome Berg Field on the Mayville State campus. Line-up for parade entries will begin at 10 a.m. on 1st Avenue, north of the Goose River Bank. To register an entry, contact Stacy Buchl at 701-788-4864 or stacy.buchl@mayvillstate.edu.

A corn on the cob and hot dog feed will follow outside of Jerome Berg Field. There is no charge for the meal, but freewill donations will be accepted to help defray costs. All are invited to partake in the family-friendly homestyle lunch while enjoying the music of Kenny and the Classics. There will be face painting and inflatable games for kids.

The Mayville State Comets will host Presentation College in the Farmers Bowl game. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. at Jerome Berg Field.

The grand finale of the day will be the Farmers Bowl Auction, which will be held at the Mayville State University Campus Center Luckasen Room. The Farmers Bowl Auction is sponsored by the MSU Foundation.  Proceeds of the auction benefit the students of Mayville State University through the work of the MSU Foundation.

The evening’s activities will begin with a social and silent auction at 5 p.m. Serving of the meal will begin at 5:30 p.m., and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening. The excitement of the live auction will be unleashed at 7 p.m., with Dennis Biliske at the podium.
