A great assortment of Farmers Bowl auction items has been donated by faithful Mayville State supporters. Items range from a side table handcrafted from Winchester shell casings and oak to items for kids, home décor, and more. Bidders will find a handmade baby quilt, pub-size chairs handcrafted from logs, and a number of unique items, including a hand-crafted Norwegian tine box and a hand-crafted cutting board. A list of auction items and photos can be found at

Six auction items will be sold as part of an abbreviated live auction. Five of these items are custom-made and have a Comets theme: an Adirondack chair, a shuffle board game, a picnic table for kids, corn hole boards, and a pub-style table, made with wood from Mayville State’s Old Gymnasium playing floor, and two stools. The sixth live auction item is a kid-sized go-cart.

Proceeds of the Farmers Bowl silent auction will benefit the students of Mayville State University through the work of Comet Athletics, the MSU Alumni Association, and the MSU Foundation. First State Bank is sponsoring the Farmers Bowl silent auction. Organizers are grateful to them and all Farmers Bowl event sponsors for their generous support for Mayville State University.
