Jay DeCann has resigned from his position as Mayville State University Athletic Director effective June 30, 2023. He has taken the position of superintendent at Wyndmere (N.D.) Public Schools.
“Jay DeCann has served Mayville State University very well during his tenure as our athletic director,” said Mayville State University President Dr. Brian Van Horn. “I thank him for his contributions and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
To ensure a smooth transition, the search for a new athletic director at Mayville State will begin as soon as possible.
