March 7, 2023

The Mayville State University Division of Education will host a science carnival for area students Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the MSU Campus Center Luckasen Room. The planned activities are geared toward elementary-age students, but all K-12 students and their parents are welcome to attend.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of STEM-related activities led by Mayville State University teacher education pre-service teachers, including math and science majors, as well as science experts. In addition, carnival participants will be encouraged to pursue STEM opportunities at home through resources provided by ND EPSCoR and the organization’s at-home video series.

There is no charge to attend the science carnival and funding to defray student transportation costs is available for those who would find those costs prohibitive. For more information, contact Jeni Peterson at jeni.peterson@mayvillestate.edu.

The STEM carnival at Mayville State is made possible through grant funding provided by the North Dakota Department of Career and Technical Education and the Regional STEM Days for Students grant program.
