North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum has proclaimed the week of April 21-27, 2024 Finish the FAFSA Week in North Dakota. The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the gateway to qualifying for grants, work-study funds, and federal student loans, as well as certain state-based aid to pay for college and career training programs.
North Dakotans are asked to encourage the students who attend North Dakota public, private, and tribal colleges or universities to complete the FAFSA and unlock the financial aid opportunities that await them on their educational journey.
Mayville State's Financial Aid Office will have extended hours April 22, 23, and 24. Students and families may stop by or make appointments for assistance with the FAFSA between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on those days. Regular office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
