The North Dakota University System has waived the ACT/SAT test score requirement for admission for those enrolling for the fall semester of 2020 as well as the summer session of 2020.

Why is this happening? This is a one-time waiver that is being implemented in light of ACT’s decision to reschedule its previously scheduled April 4 testing date to June 13 and the cancellation of the national SAT test on May 2. ACT and SAT have made these decisions in response to the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control with respect to the coronavirus pandemic.

What does this mean? If you intend to enroll at Mayville State University this fall or summer, you will not need to provide ACT or SAT scores as a requirement for admission. If you have already submitted your test scores, they will be used to help determine placement in math and English courses.
