Spring 2025 Walking Challenge for employees
We are excited to announce a fun and motivating Walking Challenge to help Mayville State employees stay active, boost wellness, and work together as a team! The Walking Challenge will begin Friday, March 21 and will run through Tuesday, April 1.
Here’s how it works:
- Teams will be assigned – you’ll be paired with some awesome colleagues!
- Track your steps using the StrideKick app (See below.) – sync your activity tracker or phone to monitor your progress.
- The team with the most miles collectively will win tickets for a grand prize drawing!

The StrideKick App
Please create an account on the StrideKick App and then register for the challenge by clicking https://forms.office.com/r/nz7HHR2bVT, then start walking your way to a healthier you! Once sign-up closes, participants will be grouped into teams and the challenge will begin!
Download the StrideKick App
- For iPhone:
- Go to the App Store on your iPhone.
- Search for "StrideKick" in the search bar.
- Tap Download to install the app.
- For Android:
- Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for "StrideKick" in the search bar.
- Tap Install to download the app.
You’ll be prompted to sign up or log in. If you're new to StrideKick, tap "Sign Up."
Connect Your Fitness Tracker or Smartphone
- Link a fitness tracker or app:
- StrideKick can sync with popular fitness apps and devices like Fitbit, Apple Health, Google Fit, and Garmin.
- Choose your device or app from the list and follow the prompts to link it.
- If you don’t use a fitness tracker, you can opt to track steps manually using your phone’s step tracker (like Apple Health for iPhone or Google Fit for Android).
- Once connected, your daily steps and activity data will automatically sync to your StrideKick account.
