Women in Music

Mayville State University Music Department presents A Night of Women in Music, featuring MSU students, the Drama Queens, and Callie Stadem, composer, vocalist, and harpist. Freewill donations will be taken at the door to support MSU music events. In Honor of Women's History Month, this concert will feature music by all female composers. The program, consisting of music spanning more than four centuries, will showcase MSU students, the Drama Queens, and Callie Stadem, a composer, vocalist, and harpist. Ms. Stadem, a native of Northwood, N.D., will be graduating this spring with a master's degree in Music Composition from UND. the Drama Queens (Joan Osland, Samantha DeLong, Teresa Agnes, Kathy Baldock, and Greta Paschke) are well-known in the local community for their productions of all-female musicals such as "Nunsense" and "Beehive." Freewill donations to support Mayville State University Music Department events will be taken at the door.
