Self and Society: Cell Phone Images of Northern Vietnamese Students

This event corresponds with an exhibition on campus exploring contemporary northern Vietnam through a series of images taken on the cell phones of its university students. There will be talks on the Vietnam War and modern Vietnam. Audience members will be able to converse with a number of Vietnamese students in Vietnam about their lives and thoughts on the war. This event is funded by the North Dakota Humanities Council.
