Presentation - Strategically Leveraging Your Network

Mayville State faculty and staff are invited to participate in this session let by Dr. Dina Zavala-Petherbridge. She will share information and activities from her class "Strategically Leveraging your Network." The class was taught by Dr. Blake-Beard at Harvard University's Women in Education Leadership Institute. The discussion will focus on managing networks both inside and outside of work organizations. Participants will be guided through core networking concepts and dimensions in preparation to analyzing their networks. Through the use of network mapping and focus on a specific leadership goal, participants will analyze their network and develop an action plan to "fill the gaps" in a structured, systematic way. This session is open to all, but the discussions are structured for womxn in the workforce. Space is limited to 15 participants. RSVP to Deni Winsand at diversity@mayvillestate.edu.
