Holiday Open House
Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center - Corner of Third Ave. and Stan Dakken Drive, Mayville
The public is cordially invited to enjoy music and refreshments at a traditional holiday open house planned for Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the historic Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center. The Larson Center is located at the corner of Third Avenue and Stan Dakken Drive on the campus of Mayville State University.
Mayville State University alumni Marian Johnson and Myrna Lyng, both of Mayville, will provide musical entertainment from 2:45 until 3:15 p.m. Marian will play the piano and she will be joined by Myrna, who will play the flute.
“We are delighted to have Marian and Myrna with us on Dec. 13,” said MSU Director of Alumni Affairs Beth Swenson. “Those who attend the weekly worship services at the Luther Memorial Home are favored by their music. We are happy that they will share their beautiful musical gifts with us at the Larson Center during this holiday celebration. Please invite your friends to join you and come to the Larson Center for what we know will be an enjoyable afternoon.”
