The Mayville State University Distinguished Service Award is presented to Mayville State personnel, teachers, professors or administrators who make or have made exceptional contributions, with a minimum of ten years of service. Other individuals who are eligible to receive the award are those who have made exemplary contributions to Mayville State through community activities. Distinguished Service Award recipients may or may not be Mayville State alumni.
The MSU Alumni Association honors Distinguished Service Award recipients on an annual basis during a recognition banquet held in conjunction with the annual Alumni Day festivities in June. Award selections are made by the Alumni Association board in January of each year.

Click here to download the Distinguished Service Award nomination form. To assist in the evaluation of nominees, you are asked to submit as complete a nomination as possible. The quality of the selection process depends in part on the quality and amount of information a nominator can provide. Nominations received by January 15 of a given year will be used in considering award recipients who will be honored in June of the same year. Selections are made by the Alumni Association board.
