Mayville State University was honored to host the North Dakota District 4 FFA Leadership Conference on Wednesday, Dec. 3. The event brought vibrant energy to campus as more than 190 middle and high school FFA members gathered along with state FFA officers, school advisors, competition judges, and bus drivers.

Students traveled from schools across the region, including Cavalier, Devils Lake, Grafton, Leeds, Lakota, Maddock, Minto, Larimore, Finley-Sharon, May-Port CG, Hope-Page, Hillsboro, Park River, and Drayton.

We are especially proud of Mayville State agribusiness students, Macy Monson, Gavin Krogstad, Chisum Schmiedeberg, Kindle Carlson, Tukker Horner, and Kinsey Hanson, who served as competition judges. Their efforts, along with the support of community members and MSU faculty and staff, helped make the day a success.

Hosting this event was a privilege, and we extend our sincere thanks to the North Dakota FFA organization for choosing Mayville State as the site for this important leadership experience. We appreciate the opportunity to showcase our campus and connect with future leaders in agriculture.
