Collegiate DECA is a student driven organization that values competence, innovation, integrity, and teamwork. We prepare students for careers by integrating skills learned in the classroom into real world experiences. Collegiate DECA programs assist in developing academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders. Our students major in a variety of academic programs with a strong focus on business-related fields. Collegiate DECA conferences and other activities give students unique access to internships, scholarships, competition, and professional networking.

Guiding Principles
Our guiding principles explain how we fulfill our mission by addressing what we do and the outcomes we expect. ICDC is a culminating experience for many members. MSU Collegiate DECA students travel throughout the nation to places like Austin, Texas, Orlando, Fla., Washington D.C., and Anaheim, Calif. to compete against the very best Collegiate DECA members from other colleges and universities. This travel experience provides them with the opportunity to participate in leadership development, receive recognition for their competitive achievements, and interact with nearly 2,000 students, advisors, and industry leaders from around the world.
