Project architects Foss Architecture + Interiors will facilitate an interactive meeting for this purpose Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the MSU Classroom Building Auditorium. Those interested may participate in person or online. To join the online meeting, find a link at https://fossarch.com/oldmain/publicinput/communityA time of socializing will follow the one-hour meeting. This will be a time when those attending can share in one-on-one conversations with the architects.

Mayville State was fortunate to receive $52 million in state funding for the renovation of Old Main. Preliminary work began during this last summer, and project completion is slated for the summer of 2026. A very important part of the design process is to gather information from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members locally and beyond. The information will be used as the architects formulate their plans. An input meeting has been held for Mayville State faculty, staff, and students. In addition, workshop-style small group meetings have been held to gather information on specific topics related to the project.

Throughout the renovation process, information about the project will be available at www.mayvillestate.edu/oldmain. At this site, you’ll find a link to the Foss Architecture web presence dedicated to the project, as well as information from the local Mayville State perspective.

Don’t miss this opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas for consideration in this extremely exciting project for Mayville State University!
