Project Overview
During the 2023 North Dakota legislative session, Mayville State University was granted $52 million to renovate Old Main. The renovation project will modernize this historic building, providing state-of-the-art classroom facilities, greater accessibility, and better efficiency. Students, staff, and faculty will enjoy more classroom and communal space. The renovation honors Old Main's legacy as a cornerstone of the Mayville State University campus, while growing with us into the future as we continue to meet the needs of our students and prepare them for success in the classroom and beyond.
Mayville State University selected Adam Peterson and Steve Skoblik with Foss Architecture + Interiors to lead the renovation. Additionally, PCL Community Contractors is the CMaR.
The completion date for the renovation is July 1, 2026.
