A search committee composed of various individuals representing our campus constituents, students, and alumni has been charged with leading the search for the head softball coach position that is currently filled on an interim basis. After reviewing applications, the committee has decided to bring two qualified candidates to campus for interview activities.
Finalist Vance Christianson will participate in campus interview activities Monday, May 8, and finalist Erin Skinner will do the same Wednesday, May 10. Mayville State faculty and staff and the public are invited to participate in meet and greet opportunities with Vance Christianson from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 8, and with Erin Skinner from noon to 12:30 p.m. on May 10. Both of these sessions will be held at the Edson and Margaret Larson Alumni and Leadership Center on the Mayville State campus.
Other activities for each of the finalists will include an interview with the search committee; a meeting with the softball team and another with the Mayville State Athletics head coaches; a meeting with President Van Horn; and lunch with the president’s cabinet.
