Below is a list of events that MSU's Staff Senate hosts or coordinates each year:
Staff Association Meeting
Staff Association Meetings are held each year, typically Spring and Fall. This is a meeting for all staff to come together to get important updates within campus.
State Employee Recognition Week
State Employee Recognition Week is held in September. Staff Senate teams up with Cabinet members to sponsor a luncheon, an ice cream social, and other fun events.
Holiday Office Decorating Contest
Staff Senate sponsored its first ever Holiday Office Decorating Contest in 2019. This will continue to be an annual event. Departments around campus decorate their offices and employees vote for the winner. The winning office receives a traveling trophy!

Spring Break Food Drive
Each year, members of Staff Senate solicit food donations from employees on campus. The donations are used to create care packages for students that remain on campus during Spring Break when the dining services are closed. In 2019, 36 care packages were created and handed out to students.
