Why did you choose to attend Mayville State University?
Everyone that I met on my tour here had a smiling face and the campus in general just seemed like home to me.

What do you like best about the major you’re pursuing?
I like that I get to take a variety of classes, from business classes to different kinds of sport teaching and health classes.

What do you like best about Mayville State in general?
I like the small class sizes and how you really have a chance to get to know your professors and they get to know you.

Do you participate in any activities related to your major/minor? Internships? Work Study? Other?
I lifeguard and teach swimming lessons at the Campus Center pool.

Have you had any unique opportunities, in or out of the classroom, while you’ve been enrolled at Mayville State?
I got to travel to Washington D.C. with collegiate DECA for the international conference in April.

What MSU clubs, organizations, or athletic activities do you participate in?
I’m in volleyball, band, DECA, peer leaders, and Iwas involved in the Larson Leadership Program.

How have these activities enhanced your college experience?
They’ve gotten me to know so many different people here on campus and make new friends.

What does personal service mean to you?
To me, it means being able to go to anyone with a question and get either an answer or find out who can give me the answer.

What are your plans after graduating from Mayville State?
Right now I’d like to go on and get my master’s degree in sports management and then get a job in that field.
