Mayville, N.D. is home to 1,800 residents who are travelling to business, restaurants, car dealerships, banks, financial service agencies, travel agencies, grocery stores, shopping centers, and more in Fargo and Grand Forks. If you want to be in front of this market (about 300 to 500 folks per game) with your business message, and you want to do good for college students, the Lady Comets "Shootin' for the Stars" program might just be a very low-cost option to get you there!
By pledging monetarily for every three-point shot made this season, you can have your business or individual name recognized in a variety of ways. See below. The three-point-a-thon will run the entire season, starting with the Lady Comets' first game on October 23, 2015 and ending with the last game, which hopefully will be at the national tournament on March 15, 2016. We'd like to have all pledges completed by October 31 so that the recognition banner can be printed and ready to hang for during the games. The Lady Comets have averaged 270 three-pointers a year over the past three seasons.
"Shootin' for the Stars" is a way to get involved with one of the most exciting teams in the state of North Dakota. The Lady Comets have been to the play-offs or championships two years in a row, and there is a fever in Mayville to watch these women play. Mayville is the kind of town that loves the businesses that support the university in any way. You will become fast friends!
