General Emil "Buck" Bedard kicked off the drive to start an endowed scholarship for veterans during Homecoming 2016 festivities, when a ceremony of remembrance was held at the Military Honor Garden. Buck's gift funded 10% of the endowment, and Martin and Diane Johnson have specifically included the Veterans Scholarship in their will.
Buck and Marty invite everyone to consider taking part in this worthy project. Purchase a plaque to be placed in the Honor Garden, and a portion of the money from your purchase will go to the Veterans Scholarship Fund, or you can make an outright donation to the scholarship fund.
