When the Old Gym came down to make room for a new P.E. complex, the Comets got a new athletic training room and a new weight room. This puts us in a unique position to have state-of-the-art facilities for our student athletes!

The state of North Dakota has paid for the construction of this new facility, but it is up to us to upgrade or replace equipment. The number of student athletes is growing dramatically. These athletes deserve facilities that can help them achieve their full potential.

Will you help?

The goal is to raise $80,000, which will be split between the weight and athletic training rooms. Tim O'Brien and Ben Carpenter have put together a wish list of equipment for the training room. It includes things they feel will benefit Mayville State athletes the most. Jeremiah Moen has investigated different weight training apparatus that is compact, yet functional. Any fund raised in excess of the goal will be earmarked for other HPER facility upgrades and improvements.

Your contribution will make a big difference at Mayville State!

You may choose to make small monthly payments toward your pledge. How about skipping a night or meal out once a month and donating the money you save to the training and weight rooms project at Mayville State? This small sacrifice will be much-appreciated by the student athletes of Mayville State.

Recognition

Donors to the project will be recognized on a Comet "Making an Impact" wall plaque.

Help us get the word out!

Even if you’re not able to make a financial commitment, you can tell others about this opportunity. You will make an immediate, long-lasting difference in the lives, experiences, and success of Comet Athletics!
