The Mayville State University Comet Athletic Club is ready to get their weekly bingo nights at the Top Hat in Mayville, N.D up and running again. The activity has been on hold since March due to the restrictions imposed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a kickoff to this much-enjoyed fundraising activity, the Comet Athletic Club will host bingo on Thursday, June 25, beginning at 7 p.m. All proceeds of bingo and a silent auction to be held on that night will be used to assist Top Hat owners Buck and Liz Olson and their family. The family has recently experienced a tragedy and funds raised on June 25 will be used to help defray medical and other expenses.

“We are excited about getting back to our weekly bingo nights at the Top Hat,” said Comet Athletic Club President Mike Carr. “Liz and Buck Olson have been great supporters of this Comet Athletic Club fundraiser and we are happy to have an opportunity to help them out in their time of need. I hope our bingo ‘regulars’ and many more will join us on June 25.”

Comet Athletic Club bingo nights will continue each Thursday night following. The fun begins at 7 p.m. at the Top Hat. Proceeds benefit the student athletes at Mayville State University through the work of the Comet Athletic Club.
