Dr. Michael Kjelland, Assistant Professor of Biology at Mayville State, is at the center of a media frenzy. He is part of a team that recently unearthed a partial 65 million-year-old Triceratops skull in the badlands of western North Dakota. Kjelland is an experienced excavator who found another Triceratops skull in the same area last year.
The story has appeared locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
